Sam — the Home Assistant
In production since March 2026 · Raspberry PiYour own Alexa — except it's ours, and it's private. Sam wakes to a custom wake word, answers with an LLM brain, and knows the family through retrieval over our own data: email, calendar, weather, cameras, stocks, and the TVs. It speaks through the house, works from a phone app anywhere, doubles as an intercom, and none of the family's conversations are anyone else's training data.
